Our Story

Our Story 〰️

A maiden voyage.

Our story began from the love of the ocean and wanting to spend more of our time on the water than on land.

We bought our boat ‘Priorities’ in 2022. Built in 2020 this 46ft Lagoon Catamaran is the ultimate in luxury travel and has been compared to a high-end floating condo! Attractive interior spaces, designed for comfort and practicality, spacious and serene.

Boating has always been an important part of our lives; Greg sailed to Hawaii from LA when he was 15 and Charlotte’s family still own a successful charter business in the English Channel. We have a US Coast Guard OUPV Captains license for Near Coastal Waters and we’re qualified to safely transport guests between the mainland and Catalina Island.

We have completed the Catalina crossing with our vessel many times,  knowing which coves to visit and how to find the fish for lunch! We specialise in navigating the ocean for all kinds of experiences, from swim trips to whale watching. We hope to welcome you onboard soon.

My clothing line, Rocking Gypsy, wanted a unique location to shoot the summer collection that matches our sustainable approach and relaxed bohemian style. Priorities, with its elegant design, was the ideal spot for this stylish shoot. The photos turned out amazing!

My teenage boys and I had the time of our lives over the July 4th weekend in Catalina. From start to finish, we were incredibly well taken care of, and the experience was nothing short of spectacular. The boat itself is stunning, and the endless activities—tubing, paddle boarding, dolphin and whale watching—kept us entertained the entire time. It was the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation, and we can’t recommend Priorities highly enough!

I am attempting the Triple Crown of open water swimming, a marathon swimming challenge that consists of three swims across the English Channel (33 kilometers), Catalina Channel (31.6 kilometers), and around Manhattan Island (45.9 kilometers). My goal is to raise money for cancer research. The good people at Priorities Sailing are avid supporters of open water swimming and kindly donated the proceeds of a charter to support my chosen charity.

My wife Sarah and I booked a trip to Catalina with Greg and Charlotte. I'd never been to Catalina and seeing it for the first time on a 46ft Catamaran yacht was like traveling first class! Our cabin was ensuite, with great amenities and the most comfortable queen size bed.
